Prior to joining AWS, Mackenzie was the Head of Technical Operations at Betterment, the world’s largest independent robo-advisor based in NYC which manages over $8B in assets. Mackenzie was a founding engineer and Head of Technical Operations at Oscar Health, an insurance startup also based in NYC, helping to grow the company to over 400+ employees.

Throughout her career, she has been an industry thought leader for publishers during the growth of programmatic advertising – leading advancements in open-source header bidding and yield optimization.
Brad Epperson is the Global Business and Development Lead, Monetization - Media, Entertainment, Games, and Sports at AWS. He recently joined AWS in October 2024 after holding executive positions at TCB Media Advisors as CEO and Nexstar Media Group as Executive Vice President of Platform Technology and Operations. Brad spent over 23 years at NBCUniversal, where he served as Senior Vice President Business Operations and Services. He has 30 years of deep expertise in media, ad tech, and operations, with a proven track record in sales process improvements and partnership development. Brad holds a BS in Broadcast Journalism from Oklahoma State University.
Sam Garfield is currently the Head of Digital Strategy for Communications, Media and Travel at Adobe, bringing over 20 years of experience as a data-driven business leader. During his 16+ year tenure at Discovery Inc., he generated Ad Sales revenue through Advanced TV products and created over 700 proprietary audience segments. At the AARP he led data intelligence initiatives and developed clean room environments for data collaboration with major strategic providers. His expertise spans data strategy, marketing technology, CRM, audience segmentation, and data-driven marketing.
Vinny Chisari is a Managing Director at Deloitte Digital, where he leads marketing transformation initiatives at the intersection of data, cloud, and AI. As Deloitte’s TMT Industry Leader and Marketing Services Leader for its Alliance with AWS and Amazon Advertising, Vinny helps global brands unlock growth by modernizing their advertising and customer experience strategies. His work spans cloud data platforms, AI-powered personalization, and next-gen measurement using clean rooms and retail media networks.
David has a passion for helping content owners create, maximize and future-proof monetization channels and strategies. He has spent the last 20+ years focused on revenue operations and ad technology, helping media owners of all sizes build out ad operations teams and ad tech stacks. Specifically, he has helped companies like Advance Local, NBCU, SheMedia and Travelzoo expand their programmatic capabilities, campaign analytics, in-house creative, yield management, and also spearheaded the strategies on industry-wide issues like the cookieless future, self-serve, ad blocking, brand suitability, and more. He's currently working as Global VP, Revenue Technology at News Corp, helping navigate the company on the strategies and technologies for taking a user-first approach to monetization from advertising, subscriptions, and more.
Michael Santana is the Lead Solutions Architect, Monetization - Media, Entertainment, Games, and Sports at AWS. Michael joined AWS in August 2022. By training, Michael is a physicist and mathematician. Since starting his career at Goldman Sachs as a quantitative portfolio strategist, he has held senior product engineering & data science leadership roles at Roku, Disney, Paramount, and GameStop.
Josh Heller serves as Coactive’s Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for both sales & business development. Josh joined Coactive from Amperity, an AI-powered Customer Data Platform (CDP), where he founded and ultimately led the sales team. His work there included advising brands such as Paramount, Gap, General Motors, T-Mobile, Taco Bell, and others on how to use data to better understand & engage customers across channels. Josh received his Bachelor’s from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and has earned a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Marika Roque serves as the Chief Innovation Officer at KERV, having previously held the role of Chief Operating Officer. With over 15 years of leadership experience, she is recognized for her expertise in digital media, data, and organizational strategy. Before joining KERV, Marika was Vice President of Digital Operations at Mass², a division of Nexstar Digital LLC. She also served as Vice President of Digital Media & Activation at LIN Digital and Nexstar, leading multiple departments and advising leadership on digital strategy.
Gino Bautista is currently the Global Director of AI Industry Solutions at Wizeline bringing over 20 years of experience across Media & Entertainment, Finance, and Tech industries. As a former Global Strategic Program Leader at AWS in M&E and Publishing, VP of J.P. Morgan's BI lab, and senior product manager at Disney and Sony Pictures, he has extensive experience in data/MarTech/AdTech/Media workloads, conducting design thinking workshops, and leveraging Product Strategy expertise to deliver analytics and data solutions.
Derek M. Gatts currently serves as the Vice President of Advertising Strategy & Innovation at Warner Bros. Discovery, where he leads ad product strategy and development across Streaming, News and Sports verticals and is tasked with bringing unique ad experiences and targeting capabilities to market. Before joining Warner Bros. Discovery in 2019, Derek was the Global Head of Advertising Innovation and Operations at Bloomberg Media Group. In this role, he oversaw ad product development, operations, programmatic, media planning, and client marketing across digital, linear, radio, and print platforms. Derek spent a decade at Time Inc., holding various positions in operations, ad product development, and strategic planning. His work focused on advancing digital advertising solutions and driving revenue growth across multiple media brands.
Daniel Smith is currently a Marketing and Advertising Technology Specialist for Media, Entertainment, Games, and Sports at AWS, bringing extensive experience in data marketplace operations and partnerships. Prior to AWS, he served as Director of Data Partnerships at Xandr (formerly AppNexus), where he led business development and sales enablement. His expertise spans advertising technology, marketing technology, data measurement, and attribution, with proven success in driving revenue growth and efficient marketing investment for stakeholders.
Dan Morris is Global Head of Marketing Solutions GTM at Databricks, where he leads solution development, customer and partner engagement, and account support for many of the world’s most prominent brands. He helps organizations unlock value from their data and AI investments to drive customer growth, engagement, and monetization. Prior to his current role, Dan served as Technical Leader for Communications, Media & Entertainment, and Gaming at Databricks. Before joining Databricks, he was Vice President of Data Platform at Viacom, where he built and led the data infrastructure powering addressable advertising, video quality monitoring, product analytics, and marketing analytics.
Logan Patterson is a Managing Director leading Slalom’s Marketing, Advertising, and Customer Experience (MAX) practice. In this role, Logan is responsible for working with customers to unlock the Future of Marketing via unique, strategic solutions incorporating AI, MarTech, Adtech, Marketing Analytics, Digital Commerce and beyond. Logan has over a decade of industry and consulting experience, holding leadership roles in marketing, sales, and digital strategy & transformation.
Vidya Shetty is currently a Principal Industry Specialist at AWS, bringing over 10 years of experience in the media industry with expertise in business strategy, finance, and product management. During her tenure at NBCUniversal as Executive Director of Business Strategy and Partnerships, she led strategic initiatives across linear and digital platforms, operationalizing new measurement currencies for addressable advertising and launching new product offerings for streaming and addressable advertising revenue management.
Lindsay Van Kirk is currently SVP and Group GM of D/Cipher at Dotdash Meredith, where she leads their market-leading intent targeting solution. Previously as SVP of Product at Operative and VP of Product Management at Xandr (via AppNexus acquisition by AT&T), she led a 16-member product team with over 100 engineers focused on demand-side platform technology, growing revenue by 40% YoY to $150M. Her expertise spans product development, operations, and building teams that solve customer problems at scale, particularly in advertising technology and marketplace solutions.
Khushboo Beniwal is currently a Principal Industry Specialist BD in Media & Entertainment, Games & Sports at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where she has held various sales leadership roles over the past 4 years. Prior to AWS, she spent 8 years at Tata Communications where she headed Media & Entertainment for West Coast, US & Canada, specializing in Enterprise IT transformation, unified communications, and cloud strategy development.
Ben Tatta is the Chief Commercial Officer at Operative, where he oversees sales and partnerships. A seasoned media executive with over 25 years of experience, Ben has played a pivotal role in shaping the evolution of advertising technology and measurement across traditional and digital platforms. Ben has made his mark in media leading innovation over the years, most notably as co-founder and president of advanced TV analytics company 605 and during his tenure at Cablevision as President of Media Sales where he launched the industry's first system-wide deployment of addressable TV advertising. He has held senior leadership roles at companies including USA Networks, IBM, ABC, Lagardere Media and eBay Enterprise Marketing. He received a B.A. in Economics from Villanova University.
Ethan Matyas is a Global Vice President at GlobalLogic, where he leads Strategic Programs. Ethan brings more than 30 years of experience in engineering and scaled engineering services, with deep domain expertise in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Media, Publishing, Digital Technology, and other verticals. Originally from Chicago, IL, Ethan is now based in Boulder, CO.
Rafique Daruwalla is a Managing Principal at EPAM with a strong focus on AdTech, MarTech and Data Analytics Strategy, Rafique specializes in shaping data-driven advertising and marketing technology ecosystems. He brings extensive experience advising on AdTech, MarTech, CDP integration, digital analytics platforms, and AI-powered marketing strategies. With a proven track record in stakeholder engagement and roadmap execution, he helps organizations modernize their advertising, marketing and customer engagement capabilities.
David Buonasera is currently the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Magnite, a position he has held since March 2023. Prior to this, he served as CTO at SpringServe from 2016 to 2023, where he helped develop next-generation ad serving functionality for major CTV/OTT publishers, handling billions of ad requests daily. He holds a BSE in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and has previous experience at notable companies including AppNexus, Citi Alternative Investments, and Goldman Sachs.
